Mr. Siegal has real estate experience in developing, managing and marketing various projects including office buildings, strip malls, historic homes, historic office buildings, subdivisions, and was recently involved as a principal in a Longboat Key Florida beachside tennis resort project venture formerly known as The Colony. Mr. Siegal was also a participant in a formerly family-owned large retail establishment specializing in discount fashion apparel, footwear and accessories. Additionally, Mr. Siegal is a past owner of a dry cleaning and laundromat chain. Mr. Siegal is a pilot holding a FAA pilot certificate for multi-engine aircraft with instrument rating and flew for Angel Flight of America, a non-profit organization.

Marissa McDonald joined Assaf & Siegal in November 2010 after having worked with Michael D. Assaf at his prior firm since October 2007. Ms. McDonald is a senior associate with the firm having received her Juris Doctor in 2005 from Albany Law School of Union University. Prior to attending law school, she received her Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo in 2002, cum laude.

Ms. McDonald is admitted to practice in New York State, the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern District of New York, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She practices in the following areas: Matrimonial and Family, Collaborative Divorce, Civil Litigation, Bankruptcy, Appeals, Real Estate, and Estate Planning.

Ms. McDonald is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Capital District Women's Bar Association, International Association of Collaborative Professionals, Collaborative Association of the Capital District and the Albany County Bar Association.

Katarina Davis joined Assaf & Siegal in November of 2010 as a Law Clerk while attending Albany Law School. She has since been awarded a Juris Doctor from Albany Law School of Union University and is associate with the firm. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Davis received a Master’s of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies from Buffalo State, The State University of New York in 2008, and received a Bachelor’s of Science from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York in 2007.

Ms. Davis is admitted to practice in New York State and in the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern District of New York. She practices in the following areas: Matrimonial and Family, Civil Litigation, Bankruptcy, Appeals, Real Estate, and Estate Planning.

Ms. Davis served as the Research & Writing and Business Manager for the Albany Law Journal of Science & Technology while attending Albany Law School.

Ms. Davis is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Capital District Women's Bar Association, and the Albany County Bar Association.

Ms. Giambona is a legal assistant and paralegal at Assaf & Siegal providing legal and administrative support for the attorneys in our firm. Ms. Giambona joined the firm in August 2010 after working as a claims analyst in the litigation department for Halsted Communications, a provider of satellite communications, reviewing property damage claims, completion of pre-litigation work-ups, customer service and escalation reconciliation, and managing finance for damage claims.
